I used the GDS Risk management process to provide security assurance to the SIRO for the use of a SAAS product for the processing of government staff personal information.
Result : The Risk Report was scrutinised by the SIRO and his working group while and until the risks were all mitigated to Low to their satisfaction and the project could then proceed.
